CHAMP Home Companion Dogs can be partnered with a child, an adult, or a family. They provide companionship and therapeutic support to their partners.
CHAMP Home Companion Dogs help build social connections, confidence, and an enhanced sense of well-being.
They are proficient in basic obedience and have good house manners. They know a number of tricks that their partners can use to spur positive interactions with others. The partner, whether child or adult, is encouraged to assist with the dog’s care wherever possible, including brushing, feeding, and petting.
CHAMP Home Companion Dogs also encourage their partners to be more active as the dogs must have daily exercise and playtime sessions in order to maintain their health and well being.
